More information has been released about a fatal car crash on Route 422 in Summit Township that we first told you about earlier this weekend.
The State Police in Butler say that just after 4:45pm on Friday, a car driven by 76-year-old Judith Fry of Butler was attempting to make a left hand turn onto Keck Road when it was rear ended by a pickup driven by 31-year-old Andrew Fair.
Authorities say that Fry, who was not wearing a seatbelt, then spun into the eastbound lanes of Route 422 before coming to a final stop. Police say that Fry was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say that Fair, who was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured in the crash, will be charged with Following Too Closely.
