Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash Sunday morning on Interstate 279.
The driver has been identified as 28-year-old Philip Mays of East Liverpool, Ohio. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say Mays drove around a curve too quickly and struck the concrete barrier on the side of the roadway. The crash happened around 9 a.m. in the northbound HOV lanes in Ross Township.
