A local motorcyclist has died from injuries he sustained after crashing his bike in Franklin Township, Butler County late last week.
The State Police in Butler say that at 6pm on Friday, 45-year-old Robert Pollock of Prospect was traveling westbound on Route 422 near Dick Road, when a car traveling in the opposite direction attempted to cross his lane from a left turn only travel lane, to turn into a parking lot.
Authorities say that Pollock struck the vehicle mid-turn, and was then separated from his motorcycle after impact.
No additional information about the crash was immediately released.
