State police are investigating a weekend crash in Butler County that left one person dead and another injured.
Brandon Lucas, 33, of Prospect was killed about 2:30 a.m. Saturday when the SUV he was riding in slammed head-on into a tree.
The crash happened on Route 528, near English Oak Drive, in Franklin Township.
Police say Jason Williams, 44, of Butler was driving the vehicle. He was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital. He was in fair condition as of Sunday.
Police say neither man was wearing a seat belt. State police continue to investigate.
