Two local farmers are on the ballot to serve on the Farm Service Agency Committee for Butler County.
Leroy Bergbigler and his family work a 300 acre dairy farm in Clearfield Township. Larry McCall has been raising corn, hay and oats on a 165 acre farm in Donegal Township for nearly 50 years.
FSA County Committee members work to decide how federal farm programs fit the needs of local farmers.
Voters have until Dec. 5 to return their ballots to the county office.
