An event this weekend at Moraine State Park is designed to give families the opportunity to fish and have fun.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission’s Family Fishing Festival is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Day Use Area.
Those who attend will learn basic fishing skills like knot tying, casting, baiting, and taking fish off the hook. No fishing licence is required and all equipment will be provided. Adults must bring a child and children must bring an adult.
Registration is required. Visit fish.state.pa.us for more information.
