An online fundraising campaign is underway to help the family affected by a tragedy Monday in Summit Township.
Mark Fike, 11, was killed when he was hit by a car while waiting at his bus stop. His two siblings- a brother and sister- were injured.
Mark’s aunt- Sara Sherrin- has set up a GoFundMe to help the Fike Family. More than $13,000 had already been raised by Tuesday morning.
Sherrin called Mark “an amazing young man and great big brother.” She said he loved the outdoors and catching critters.
“This loss has been so unexpected and painful, please consider donating to help with costs for the family as they deal with this most tragic situation,” Sherrin wrote. “Even if you can’t help support the family financially, please lift them up with prayer.”
