As we creep deeper into fall, the leaves are starting to change colors.
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources say Butler County, and more counties to our north are “approaching best color.”
Park officials say they have seen some brighter fall colors in both Mercer and Clarion counties.
With another week of colder temperatures in store, its expected that peak foliage could be as soon as this weekend.
