A deadline is approaching for certain community college students to receive financial aid for the upcoming year.
We spoke with Butler County Community College officials who say if you are entering your first year of enrollment at BC3, the deadline to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid—also known as FAFSA—is August 1st.
That makes you eligible to receive funding from the state, which BC3 officials say are once again “very generous awards.”
The state is also holding a free webinar this Thursday night for students interested in learning more information about the application process for FAFSA. It runs from 6 to 7 p.m.—learn more about the webinar by clicking here.
