A fun community event this weekend plans to present free bicycles to kids who live in the city of Butler.
A Bicycle Rodeo is being held this Sunday (7/9) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farmers Market on the Island. Registration opens at 12:30 p.m.
Kids ages 5 to 15 will have the opportunity to enjoy face painting by the Butler Beauty School, story time with the Butler Library, and meet lots of people in the community like city police and firefighters.
The group behind this event hopes to have 100 new and used bikes for this giveaway. Anyone able to help out and donate should contact Denny Offstein at 724-287-7771.
