An Evans City woman is accused of trying to strangle her mother.
Katherine Kelly, 32, was arrested and is facing a long list of charges.
State Police were called to Marburger’s Dairy in Forward Township early Wednesday morning for reports of an assault. They met with Margorie Kelly, who said she was attacked and strangled by her daughter at her home earlier that night.
She told officers she walked barefoot about a mile from home to the dairy farm looking for help after the attack.
Katherine Kelly is due in court for a preliminary hearing next week.
