An Evans City man was sentenced Thursday to serve time in state prison in two assault cases, including one in which he’s accused of stabbing someone while at a child’s birthday party.
Austin Young, 22, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in a state correctional facility.
Butler Township Police charged Young back in January 2017 following an incident at Bon Aire Bowl at the Bon Aire Plaza in Butler Township.
Officers said Young and another man were attending a 5-year-old’s birthday party when they started arguing. The fight ended with Young allegedly stabbing the victim. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
