A business owner from Erie is looking to challenge Congressman Mike Kelly for a seat in Washington.
62-year-old Dan Pastore announced yesterday he was running for the Democratic nomination for the 16th Congressional District.
Pastore owns FishUSA, a fishing store based in Erie. This is the first time he’s run for political office, describing himself as a “moderate” who is concerned about the divisiveness in Washington.
With all of the campaign announcements, there is still no final Congressional map for the year. One proposed map still has most of the 16th District staying together.
