Crews have been put back into service following a report of a fire at AK Steel Friday afternoon.
The call came in to the Butler County 911 Center around 12:30 p.m. for a ladle that reportedly broke which resulted in molten steel running onto the floor.

Shortly before 1 p.m. AK Steel reportedly told the crews that everything was under control and no help was necessary. A request for comment from AK Steel was not immediately returned.
