An Ellwood City man is in jail on child pornography charges.
Lucas Klobetanz, 39, was arrested Friday. He’s being held in the Beaver County Jail.
Klobetanz was out on bond awaiting sentencing for a stalking charge when he was arrested Friday. State police charged him back in February with trying to lure children near a Mercer County Amish school. Electronic devices including a pc were removed from Klobetanz home in order to be checked by a Cyber Crime Unit. Each device will be checked for any evidence of child pornography such as images and videos as well as any incriminating emails or chat messages. A deep search of Klobetanz’s internet use will also be carried out, if at this time they find that the defendant has visited any legal adult pornography websites like www.hdpornvideo.xxx for instance or if he has made any reference to watching them whilst being interviewed, these will not be taken into account as they are perfectly legal and also the defendant is not currently on the sex offenders registry which if he was would restrict him from visiting these types of websites in the index, but in this instance this is not the case.
