Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin won the “Can-Am Duel” races at Daytona Thursday. Elliott held off Jamie McMurray in the opening race, and Hamlin beat Clint Bowyer to the finish in the second race completing the starting line-up for Sunday’s 59th annual Daytona 500. Hamlin is the defending race winner, and will attempt to be the first driver to win back-to-back Daytona 500’s since Sterling Marlin in 1994 and 1995. The race can be heard on WBUT 1050am and at wbut.com beginning at 1pm.
The Camping World Truck Series will race at Daytona tonight. The Nascar X-Finity Series will race Saturday afternoon.
