A local non-profit is holding an event this weekend to help support a program which provides therapeutic horsemanship sessions to riders with special needs.
Elliott Acres Therapy Riding Center’s annual Horse Show and Fundraiser is planned for Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the facility on Headland Road in Butler.
Riders will demonstrate what they have learned in classes throughout the summer and visitors will have the chance to meet the horses as well as learn about how the therapy works. The day will also include a basket auction, with t-shirts, refreshments, and other items available for purchase.
