Today is Election Day.
Polls in Pennsylvania are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The presidential race will bring out more voters than usual. Turnout in Butler County is expected to top 50 percent.
Since the May primary election, over 6,000 new residents have signed up to vote in Butler County.
Pennsylvania is one of the states to watch on this Election Day.
The commonwealth has 20 electoral votes up for grabs.
Many pundits say our state is an absolute must-win for Donald Trump if he is to pull off a victory this evening, but PA has gone “blue” for six straight elections.
The last Republican to win here: George H.W. Bush in his election landslide over Michael Dukakis in 1988.
Both Clinton and Trump devoted massive amounts of time, energy and money in Pennsylvania- especially in the final days of the race.
