Easton Corbin‘s third studio album, About to Get Real, arrives in stores at online retailers today (Tuesday, June 30th). The 12-song album includes Easton’s latest hit, “Baby Be My Love Song.”
The singer says that the album’s title, About The Get Real, perfectly sums up the project and where he is, musically speaking. “I think that just sounded great as a title track to a record, because it’s about, as an artist, you grow and within that growth process, you do your best to make it current and young, but also with that you stay true to your roots and you have to be real about that. For me, it’s keeping that traditional country element in my songs, but also keeping it fresh. It’s a balance, and I think we’ve done that well with this record.”
Easton kicks off album release day with a performance on NBC’s Today show. Tonight, the New York Mets bring Easton to Citi Field for a pregame acoustic concert before they take the field to take on the Chicago Cubs. The singer will talk to MLB.com at the game. On Wednesday (July 1st), Easton will make another early morning appearance on Fox & Friends.
