Officials in East Brady are keeping an eye on the Allegheny River as the possibility for ice jams increase.
Over the weekend, ice could be seen moving along the river in East Brady. There was also ice in the Parker area according to officials.
At the moment, the ice has not started to jam along the river but officials are closely monitoring the situation.
Ice jams can lead to quickly rising water conditions—which could lead to evacuations and significant damages to homes.
