No one was seriously hurt in an early Sunday morning fire in Slippery Rock.
The blaze started about 2:30 a.m. at an apartment building on Arlington Drive. The fire originated and heavily damaged one of the garages. Several tenants were forced to flee the scene but none were seriously hurt. One person was reportedly treated for smoke inhalation.
The building housed four units, each of which had an attached garage.
Damage is reportedly estimated at $100,000. The cause is under investigation but thought to be electrical.
