One person suffered moderate injuries early Saturday morning in Jackson Township, Mercer County.
The Mercer State Police say that just after 2am, 23-year-old Tanner Barkley of Mercer was traveling on Springfield Church Road when he hit a ditch at the road’s intersection with Millbrook Road.
Authorities say that Barkley’s car then flipped several times into a wooded area, before landing on its roof.
Police say that Barkley, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries. Authorities also say that Barkley showed signs of intoxication, and admitted to drinking earlier that evening.
Barkley was taken to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment. Charges are pending B.A.C. lab results from the center.
