A local man is facing numerous charges after another local man died last year as a result of drugs.
According to Butler Township Police, 29-year-old Joshua Hakeem was taken into custody Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Days Inn on Pittsburgh Road.
Hakeem was identified as a suspect in the delivery of a combination of heroin and fentanyl that resulted in the death of 29-year-old John Kolakowski, also of Butler, in October of last year.
Hakeem has been charged with Drug Delivery Resulting in Death, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Involuntary Manslaughter, and Reckless Endangerment of another person. Hakeem is currently in Butler County Prison on $100,000 bond.
