A local organization will try to raise awareness of the ongoing battle with drugs in our community with an upcoming awareness walk.
The Walk of Hope is scheduled to take place on Saturday. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church on North Main Street in Butler. The walk will start at 10 a.m., with participants making their way to the Butler County Courthouse.
This is a free activity but donations will be accepted. The event is organized by the family support group “Hope for Broken Hearts.”
