Officials in Cranberry Township are reminding drivers that it’s summertime- more kids are out playing- and they need to slow down and be alert.
The “Cranberry Neighborhood Slow Down Campaign” kicked off over the weekend, and will continue through June 24.
Drivers will notice signs, electronic speed monitors and increased police patrols in 40 of Cranberry’s neighborhoods- all there to remind drivers to drive the 25-mile-per-hour speed limit in residential areas.
A second ‘Slow Down Campaign’ will be held in the fall as kids go back to school and are again waiting at the bus stop.
