A Butler man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital on Sunday after he was severely injured in a vehicle crash in Butler Township.
The crash happened about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Whitestown and South Duffy roads.
According to Butler Township Police, 51-year-old John Marchyshyn ran a red light. In the process, his vehicle was hit by a vehicle driven by 68-year-old Charlotte Moore of Butler.
Marchyshyn was flown to Allegheny General with injuries described as severe. Moore was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.
Police say an investigation is continuing.
