A driver was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after overturning a vehicle on Pittsburgh Road (Route 8 north) near the city of Butler.
The one-vehicle crash happened about 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lane near Mac’s Café.
Authorities believe the driver may have fallen asleep behind the wheel. She was taken to Butler Memorial after being trapped for more than 20 minutes.
