A driver was allegedly high on drugs when he led police on a chase before crashing into a curb early Wednesday.
A Butler Township officer attempted to pull over 35-year-old Arthur Gillon III of Butler about midnight because some of his lights were out.
Gillon didn’t pull over and instead led officers on a short chase than began on Hansen Avenue. It ended on Route 8 near the Comfort Inn.
Gillon appeared to be under the influence of heroin. Toxicology results of a blood test are pending.
Officers also discovered Gillon was currently wanted on a bench warrant. He now faces an additional long list of charges.
