A Butler man is now facing homicide by vehicle charges stemming from a crash last spring that killed a man from Prospect.
Jason Williams, 45, is accused of driving under the influence on May 12 and crashing his SUV head-on into a tree. His passenger, 33-year-old Brandon Lucas- was killed.
The crash happened on Route 528 in Franklin Township.
Williams was arraigned Wednesday on a list of charges, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
Police say Williams was hurt in the crash but before a medical helicopter flew him to a Pittsburgh hospital, he allegedly admitted to police he drank that night.
