A Harmony man has been charged after he ran from the scene after being involved in a crash on Rt. 79 in Cranberry on Saturday.
The State Police in Butler say that just after 4pm on Saturday, 32-year-old Sean Patterson was traveling northbound on 79 when he hit another vehicle driven by a Connoquenessing man.
Authorities say that after the crash, Patterson then ran from the scene. However, Patterson later turned himself into the State Police.
Patterson faces criminal charges for misdemeanor hit and run along with several traffic violations. Additionally, Patterson’s driving privilege was suspended prior to the accident.
