A driver that has been suspended nearly a dozen times is back in prison after Butler City Police say he led them on a chase.
Arthur Vanscoy, 45, of Clearfield Township remains in the Butler County Prison awaiting a Monday preliminary hearing (10/19). He’s accused of leading police on a chase through Butler City last week (Wednesday 10/7) after they tried to pull his pickup truck over for an expired inspection sticker.
The chase started on Virginia Avenue and traveled onto Upper Shore Street, Quarry Street and South McKean Street…and ended on Center Avenue.
A review of Vanscoy’s driving record showed he has 10 prior convictions for driving with a suspended license.
