A Butler man is facing a long list of charges after he’s accused of causing several accidents in the parking lot of the Butler Walmart.
Police allege the situation started when 33-year-old Mark Holmes was suspected of shoplifting in early September.
Authorities allege Holmes fled the store to the parking lot, got into his Ford Escape, and backed into a vehicle. Police say he briefly got out of his vehicle and pushed the driver whose car he hit. He’s then accused of getting back in his own car and striking a parked vehicle.
Before finally exiting the parking lot, police allege Holmes nearly caused two other accidents- including almost hitting a person on a motorized shopping cart and another pedestrian. Holmes is facing several charges, including driving with a suspended license.
