A Fenelton man is accused of leading state police on a high-speed chase while driving drunk on St. Patrick’s Day.
Police allege 23-year-old Carl Slupe did not pull over about 1:45 a.m. Saturday on Simon Drive in Summit Township when troopers tried to stop him for a traffic violation.
Slupe allegedly continued driving on Simon Drive- then continuing onto Herman and Moran roads- at times hitting speeds in excess of 90 miles per hour. He eventually came to a stop on Moran Road near North Osche Road, where he was arrested.
Slupe now faces several charges, including DUI and a felony charge of fleeing and eluding police.
