The majority of work on the Centre City Parking Garage in downtown Butler is expected to be completed by the end of next week.
Butler City Council heard an update on the progress of construction from the project manager during a meeting Tuesday night that set a date of completion of Nov. 4 for the general contractor.
Work on plumbing and electrical is expected to continue through Nov. 11 and the gate system is not anticipated to be installed until Nov. 18. Although the project is 95 percent complete, work is likely to continue through the end of November on loose ends like painting, signage and taking down fences.
The garage continues to be an estimated $50,000 under budget.
