Just because Small Business Saturday is over, doesn’t mean you should look over local businesses in downtown Butler when searching for the perfect gift.
Jared Sullivan is the president of the nonprofit organization ‘Butler Downtown,’ and he says there is something for everyone in the Main Street corridor.
“Children’s clothing, decorations for your house, comic book stores, restaurants, breweries… there is something for everyone downtown,” Sullivan said in a recent interview with Butler Radio.
The group ‘Butler Downtown’ is run by volunteers, and dedicated to bringing people into the city to shop, eat and drink.
The group is always looking for more help, and has a future goal of hiring a full-time Main Street Manager, which they have had in the past. The position used to be state-funded.
If you would like to get involved, or just learn more, you can call Butler Downtown at 724-256-8900 or send them a message on Facebook.
