Power has been restored following a Friday afternoon outage that affected about 1,500 residents in Butler County.
The majority of those residents are in Butler and Center townships. The outage lasted from shortly after noon until shortly before 2:30 p.m.
A tree came down on North Duffy Road in Center Township, and knocked out power to the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center. The traffic light at the intersection of New Castle and Duffy roads was also affected.
It’s unclear if this downed tree was responsibility for all of the outages.
