Anyone wishing to get rid of gently used winter coats can donate them to help locals in need.
The Center for Community Resources in downtown Butler is facilitating a coat drive to benefit ‘Bundle Up Butler.’
Coats and outerwear is currently being collected. Donations can be dropped off at CCR’s office on South Main Street.
Local residents will then be invited to ‘Bundle Up Butler’ on Friday, Oct. 21 from 10am-1pm at the Farmer’s Market on South Chestnut Street in Butler.
Coats for kids are free and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. A limited number of adult coats will also be available for a $5 donation.
