The Butler Area School District will hold an open house at Broad Street Elementary tonight for Summit students and their families.
The Open House is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the soon-to-be re-opened school in downtown Butler.
The district anticipates parking and traffic around the school during this event could be an issue so those planning to attend are asked to obey all posted signs.
The school board made the decision to reopen Broad Street at an emergency meeting earlier this week to temporarily house Summit students until the water issues at Summit are resolved. Students will begin attending Broad Street on Monday. Broad Street school has been closed for about a year and a half following the district’s consolidation.
