The Butler Area School District has a new app to allow improved access to all kinds of information for parents and students.
Technology Director Bill Raley demonstrated the mobile app to school board members Monday night. The app was created for the district free of charge by web service provider Blackboard using existing website content.
The app is designed to allow for easier customizable access as well as eliminate problems accessing information on mobile devices. The app also allows for district administrators to issue alerts and connect with social media.
The new mobile app is now available it the Apple or Google Play store.
