Two members of local government will be honored for their service at a ceremony Wednesday night.
Sam Zurzolo and Kenny Bonus will each receive a 2017 Distinguished Service Award at the Butler Country Club from sponsors the Butler Eagle and the Rotary Club of Butler.
Zurzolo is a former Marine, active in numerous local volunteer efforts and currently serves as a Butler Township Commissioner. Bonus is the owner of Bonus Accounting, sits on several boards around the area and is a member of Butler City Council.
This is the 68th year of the Distinguished Service Awards.
