The Middlesex Township supervisors have granted an extension to developers of a proposed commercial and residential center.
Developers of the Middlesex Crossing plan were expected to present plans at Wednesday’s meeting but the public hearing on the proposal has been delayed by the request for an extension.
Middlesex Crossing is a 93-acre commercial and residential development proposed for the intersection of Route 8 and Route 228. The plan requires conditional use modification approval by the township before it can move forward.
More details will be presented at the township’s planning commission meeting to be held January 27 at the Middlesex Township Municipal building.
Even though plans were not presented Wednesday, one resident did share his concerns at the meeting about the impact of the plan on Overbrook Road.
