The Pennsylvania Department of Education is continuing an effort to make media more accessible for those with disabilities.
The Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians was recently toured by Secretary of Education Khalid Mumin and he even recorded an audio book. Mumin recorded “It Fell From the Sky” by The Fan Brothers.
The library provides those with disabilities access to free materials shipped in any necessary format.
Secretary Mumin called “The Library of Accessible Media for Pennsylvanians is a shining example of the good that libraries can do for the people they serve,”
The library saw it’s second budget increase in as many years.
