Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials have announced temporary restrictions on a local roadway due to inclement weather.
Beginning at 3 p.m., those traveling on Interstate 80 between Interstates 79 and 99 are asked to observe Tier 1 restrictions.
Tier 1 restrictions include a prohibition of tractors without trailers, passenger vehicles towing trailers, recreational vehicles, motor homes, buses not equipped with traction devices, and motorcycles.
PennDOT advises motorists to avoid unnecessary travel Monday afternoon and evening. Weather experts are forecasting that Butler County could see another one or two inches of snow through Monday.
