The state’s Department of Health is urging residents to get their annual flu shot and other vaccines.
With respiratory disease season now underway, health leaders say vaccines are now available across the state for flu, Covid, and RSV.
Officials say it’s safe to get all three vaccines at the same time.
“It is important to protect yourself and your family from severe illness by getting updated vaccinations before respiratory disease season kicks into high gear,” Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen said.
Last year, there were over 178,000 confirmed flu cases, 55,000 RSV cases, and 72,000 emergency room visits due to Covid.
