Super Bowl 50 will feature quarterback Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos against quarterback Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers on February 7th. Denver defeated New England 20-18 in the AFC Championship game Sunday as the Broncos improved to 14-4 this season. At the age of 39, Manning surpassed former Denver quarterback John Elway as the oldest quarterback to help his team reach the Super Bowl.
In the NFC Championship game, Carolina overwhelmed Arizona 49-15. The Panthers forced seven Arizona turnovers, tying a conference championship game record. Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer threw four interceptions and fumbled twice. The Panthers improved to 17-1. Carolina is an early four point favorite.
