Democrats won all three special elections for the state house of representatives last night.
These elections were held to replace three different lawmakers from the Pittsburgh area who were either elected to higher office or died.
This now means Democrats hold a one seat majority in the House of Representatives.
The win also puts the future of Democratic state house speaker Mark Rozzi, who was named to the position on a bipartisan basis in January.
