Democrats will have a majority in the Pennsylvania state house for the first time in over a decade.
Following a win that was called in a state house race late last week in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Democrats now hold a very slight edge to take the chamber majority.
Overall, Democrats flipped 12 districts in this past election.
Despite the expected 102-101 Democratic majority, it won’t take place right away.
There will be three special elections needed for seats that will be vacated. All three are currently Democratic-held. It’s not clear when that special election will be held.
