Democrats will retain control of the State House of Representatives following a win in yesterday’s special election.
Democrat Dan Goughnour of McKeesport won the 35th District, giving Democrats a one-seat advantage in Harrisburg.
Goughnour is a police officer who won 63 percent of the vote in the heavily Democratic district.
