Motorists travelling through Slippery Rock can expect delays beginning today as Route 173 is resurfaced.
During the project, motorists should expect lane closures with flaggers directing traffic from 6:30a.m. to 6:30p.m.
The project will begin at the West Liberty Street intersection, continue through Slippery Rock Borough, and wrap up at the Mercer County line.
The $4.1 million project should be completed in September 2022 and includes repaving and other updates.
