With the fall season now upon us, AAA is warning drivers to be on the watch for deer running onto the road.
“You want to keep your eyes moving back and forth,” AAA spokeswoman Kathleen Zinszer said. “You want to be especially attentive in the early morning and evening hours.”
October, November and December are historically the worst months out of the year for vehicles colliding with deer.
Hitting a deer is also quite expensive. Last year, the average deer-related claim in Pennsylvania was more than $3,500.
